We are breaking into a genre that is kind of cursed; hero shooters have come and gone a lot in recent times. We’re trying to bring some innovation, all the way from gameplay to the way items work.” -Pasquale Finiello, Co-founder of Ragnarok Games. The company said its blockchain integration is optional, keeping the gameplay separate while offering true digital ownership to Web3 enthusiasts. The team-based combat game disclosed that its blockchain integrations allow users to own cosmetics and mint Avalanche-backed collectibles like the Artist Print skin. The firm also stated that its blockchain titles will help users participate in a secure trading environment, without sacrificing polish, balance, or competitive integrity. BloodLoop also revealed its roadmap through 2025, including new heroes, maps, ranked mode, and controller support. The game came with five playable characters, four maps, and complete in-game loops with skins, crafting, and an in-game economy during launch.
