Japan-based Metaplanet has acquired an additional 319 Bitcoin (BTC) worth approximately ¥3.7 billion ($26.3 million), bringing its total holdings to 4,525 BTC. The purchase was made at an average price of ¥12,849,780 ($82,549) per Bitcoin. The Tokyo-listed firm, often compared to MicroStrategy for its aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy, aims to increase its holdings to 10,000 BTC by the end of 2025.
