Tokyo-listed Metaplanet has surpassed El Salvador in total Bitcoin holdings following its recent purchase of 1,241 BTC, valued at approximately $126.7 million. This acquisition brings Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings to 6,796 BTC, a rise of $110 million, now worth over $700 million. The company has set a target of reaching 10,000 BTC by the end of the year, highlighting a company to country-level competition.
