2 min read
Doodles, a popular Non-Fungible Token (NFT) project, has officially launched its new token, DOOD, on the Solana blockchain. This launch also includes a new AI-powered storytelling platform and a social game. This initiative marks a big step for the Doodles project, which aims to expand its ecosystem beyond digital collectibles. Major Exchange Supports DOOD Token Launch The newly launched Doodles’ DOOD token is available for trading on well-known exchanges, including Bybit, Binance Alpha, Gate.io, KuCoin, and MEXC. Reportedly, even more trading platforms are expected to list the token soon. Notably, eligible users can now claim their DOOD airdrop directly from the official Doodles website. The new token has a total supply of 10 billion, divided across several key groups. The Doodles community holds the largest portion at 30%, while 25% is set aside for the ecosystem fund to support future growth and development. The core team receives 17%, reflecting their role in building and maintaining the project. A group labeled “New Blood” is allocated 13%, possibly indicating new contributors or strategic partners. To support trading and market stability, 10% of the tokens are reserved for liquidity. Lastly, 5% is allocated to the company itself. While the token is now live on Solana, Doodles plans to bring DOOD to Base, Coinbase’s Layer 2 blockchain , soon. DreamNet Turns AI and Imagination into Rewards DreamNet, the new platform launched with DOOD, allows users to build their characters and story worlds using artificial intelligence (AI). These creations can then be used in games, videos, or animations. If other people use these creations in games or shows, the original creators can earn DOOD tokens. The platform is designed to help artists and fans collaborate and earn rewards. DreamNet is a new way for people to participate in digital storytelling and earn money from their creativity. Doodles also released a game called Lord of the Files to make things even more exciting. The game occurs in a virtual office setting where players try to outsmart each other. The winner will receive a prize of 500,000 DOOD tokens. Doodles Grows Beyond NFTs Doodles started in October 2021 with 10,000 cartoon-style NFTs. In 2022, the art collection raised $54 million in its first funding round , bringing its value to over $704 million. Since then, it has become one of the most recognized digital art collections. Currently, the floor price of a Doodle costs around 3.37 Ethereum, valued at $8,000. Since May 9, the project has made over $4 million in trading volume. The team wants Doodles to become more than just digital art. The project intends to use technology to bring together art, fun, and ownership. With the launch of DOOD, Doodles is entering a new phase.
