MicroStrategy (MSTR), known for its institutional Bitcoin investment strategy, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2025. The company reported revenue of $111.1 million, below expectations ($115.8 million), while earnings per share (EPS) have not yet been announced. The company’s founder and chairman, Michael Saylor, announced in a statement that MicroStrategy has achieved a “BTC return” of 13.7% since the beginning of the year and $5.8 billion in Bitcoin earnings. These rates show that the company has already achieved 90% and 58% of its 2025 targets, respectively. Saylor also stated that the company has doubled its capital plan: $42 billion in equity and $42 billion in fixed income financing for Bitcoin purchases. The BTC return target for 2025 has been raised from 15% to 25%, and the BTC earnings target from $10 billion to $15 billion.
