Metaplanet Buys 319 Bitcoin for $26.3M, Issues $10M in 0% Bonds, Holdings Reach 4,525 BTC in April 2025

Japanese investment firm Metaplanet has acquired an additional 319 Bitcoin for $26.3 million, raising its total holdings to 4,525 BTC, valued at $386 million as of April 2025. With this purchase, Metaplanet is now the ninth largest publicly traded company with Bitcoin on its balance sheet. To further increase its Bitcoin holdings, Metaplanet has issued $10 million in 0% bonds.
