Reportedly, this event took place after MARA announced closing its second convertible note offering worth ~$850 million. The company primarily preferred to purchase Bitcoin tokens which is the largest cryptocurrency by market cap. Moreover, the company partially re-purchasing its existing notes which are due in 2026.
