The Eigen Foundation announced unlocking the Eigenlayer’s EIGEN token for trading, transferring, and staking across multiple exchanges. The Foundation claimed developers could now leverage staked assets to build AVSs (actively validated services). Programmatic incentives would also be used to reward operators and stakers using newly minted EIGEN tokens.
